Microsoft has just launched what they say is their most important product of the year, Windows Phone 7.
Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO, took the stage a the launch event and explained how this new OS will change the game. According to him, the new OS should have some industry changing functions. It will certainly be interesting to see what he has in mind.
Microsoft has certainly had design and user friendliness in mind while designing the OS. Andy Lees, Microsoft's Mobile Communications Business president said:
When you first get the phone, the stuff that's more obvious makes you smileAccording to Microsoft, the OS delivers a new user experience by integrating the things users really want to do, creating a balance between getting work done and having fun.

During the launch event, 10 mobile devices was unveiled that will be running Windows Phone 7. The OS will be launched in the European market on Oct 21, and in U.S. market on Nov. 8.
